My writing promotes the work of African American literature. To speak upon the many ways that our people are being oppressed and traumatized. Also, it speaks upon my own experiences and others; As an African American in America.

My writing
I am a student at University of St. Thomas and I'm majoring in Business Communications. I want to create a non-profit that deals with helping the youth in my community at North side Minneapolis. For generations, our people suffered in many ways due to lack of resources and care for our young people; Many of them are feeling lost and hopeless and I want them to know that they are not alone.
For my future non-profit, I want to provide career resources and guidance, education on Black Identity in America, and a place where youth are free to speak upon values that are destined to be heard.
